               Outreach

Our mission is to INSPIRE a passion for STEM in our community, DEVELOP STEM skills in ourselves and others, and ENGAGE with the world around us, we have around 375hrs of team outreach this season.

For Professional Outreach, we worked to develop a relationship with the Engineering department at our University and our local Engineering companies. With these relationships, we further spread FIRST and STEM in our community and get professional feedback to improve our skills and robot efficiency.

For Community Outreach, We hosted booths in multi-day Trade shows, promoting STEM and FIRST, in our community. we bring our field and robot to these events, let everyone drive and operate the robot, and talk about STEM opportunities for kids in our Community. We partnered with our local University to exhibit our robot and share about FIRST at the engineering department's house.
We also did robot presentations at elementary schools and hosted a robotics Open House at our school. We also mentor the younger robotics students and volunteer at their Competitions.

Finally, for FIRST Outreach, We volunteered for our FLL Explore and Challenge competitions in Fairbanks and Anchorage. We also Mentored 4 FLL Teams and saw them have great success.

We also have a YouTube Channel called "IDEA Robotics" with videos aimed at helping FLL teams.

We have a lot of knowledge from  our years in FLL and want to share what we have learned with other teams.
